The House of Metallurgy and Industry of Liège (MMIL) introduces to the steel and industrial heritage in a real old factory dating back to 1845.
2,500 m² to discover the industrial heritage of Liège. With a visit, you will travel through time and will be introduced to great names of Liège’s industry such as Zénobe Gramme or John Cockerill.

The permanent exhibition rooms

They reveal the secrets of metallurgy and energies through the ages. With your family or in a group, the numerous collections of the Maison de la Métallurgie will tell you their history, in the company of a guide or guided by our visitor’s notebook.

The temporary exhibition

With its temporary exhibitions, the MMIL displays collections usually kept in its reserves. For a defined period of time, these collections shed new light on specific themes, in line with the museum’s missions.
